90th anniversary of Maiji Jingu Shrine "Beauty of Jingu Forest"

In the midst of metropolitan Tokyo, the biggest city in the world, there is an oasis called Meiji Jingu Shrine Forest, which offers comfort and peace to visitors.
The woodland makes you imagine of an ancient forest which contains the perfect ecocycle of plants and animals, yet it was designed and created by human beings in the span of only 90 years.
This beautiful Jingu forest has been appreciation and inspiration which is a monument to mankind's vision, determination and ability and it is our treasure to be inherited to the decades to come.
It is my sincere hope that the sounds and images of the Meiji jingu forest in 2010 will be our message to the next generation and ever. I pray for the graceful Meiji jingu Forest will be handed over to the future generation with it`s eternal life and energy.
